“The very first thing I saw on the Yoga Gives Back website was the message, “India gave us the gift of yoga. We invite you to join one million yogis giving back,” and my immediate thought was, “Yes, invitation accepted!” The practice of yoga has enriched my life in so many ways, and I’ve seen it do the same for so many others, that supporting an organization that is giving back to the birthplace of yoga, feels like one small way that I can show my gratitude for all that the practice has gifted me with. And, any work that empowers women and children to create sustainable lives is a great honor, and joy, to be a part of.”
