We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Kathleen Kastner, a passionate YGB Global Ambassador based in Encinitas, California. Kathleen’s journey with Yoga Gives Back began in Kansas City, MO, when she met YGB Founder Kayoko Mitsumatsu at her former studio, Maya Yoga. Inspired by YGB’s mission, she joined a life-changing Seva Trip to India in 2014, deepening her commitment to empowering women and children through the power of yoga and collective giving.
Each year, Kathleen organizes a vibrant Kansas City YGB Gala, a 3-hour fundraising celebration featuring a silent auction, inspiring presentations, yoga, sound bath, live music, and refreshments—all made possible by her dedicated and compassionate planning committee.
Kathleen’s unwavering dedication and heartfelt activism embody the very essence of YGB’s mission. Her commitment is a powerful reminder of how one person’s passion can create meaningful change.
