We are currently visiting all our programs in India on our annual Seva Trip together with YGB’s Advisors and Ambassadors: Bhaskar Deva, Deborrah Carruthers, Deepa Chemery, Erika Hawks, Heather Shereé Sanbders, Karina O’Connor, and Nischala Joy Devi. This life-changing journey offers an opportunity for us to meet with our fund recipients – our brothers and sisters – whose lives have been transformed thanks to all your generous support.
Every day, we witness new developments and the ripple effects of our programs operated by our dedicated NGO partners. Here in West Bengal, we had a particularly moving experience meeting with a fathers group that gathers monthly to discuss the importance of girls’ education and equal rights. Since 2013, YGB’s SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) program has shown these fathers that girls with higher education secure good jobs and uplift their families. Their daughters are no longer seen as burdens but as valuable contributors to their households, A real shift is taking place!
As Yoga Gives Back enters its 18th year, I am very excited to share our first official IMPACT REPORT 2024, highlighting the incredible growth YGB achieved last year.
