Every March, we join the “International Women’s Day” campaign. It is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
This year, the campaign theme Inspire Inclusion emphasizes the importance of diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society.

This year’s campaign theme underscores the crucial role of inclusion in achieving gender equality. It calls for action to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create environments where all women are valued and respected.
India ranks 127th among 135 countries for the gender gap index. In our 17th year, we are now empowering almost 3000 underserved women and children with our micro-loan and education programs. Your commitment to our mission is truly changing lives.

SONOMANI, MICRO-LOAN RECIPIENT
Last month, we visited Sonomani’s new retail shop at a train station in South Kolkata. Her husband works for her and expresses his respect. They seem happy together.
In 2018, we first met Sonamani when she joined a “mat making” micro-loan group. She was a victim of domestic violence and sought help from this group. Your support changed her life.
