The 2024 Namaste Award is being honored to Belinda Carlisle, animal rights activist and co-founder of Animal People Alliance.
The award is a tribute to visionaries who inspire the global yoga community and beyond with their vision. These individual have committed themselves to humanitarian causes to make this world a better place. We are truly proud to honor Belinda Carlisle @travels_with_mrs_mason as this year’s recipient for her advocacy for animal welfare and human rights as a co-founder of @animalpeoplealliance, whose mission is to provide high quality and compassionate care, of the highest standards, to neglected street animals in India and Thailand. They do so by employing vulnerable people from the community, and pay them living wages.
During our Annual Global Gala at @wolfsglenwestwood on November 10, 2024, we will present this award to Belinda and learn more about her mission and vision for the Alliance plus her journey with yoga.
