That was the most empowering, inspiring, and successful Global Gala Weekend we’ve had in Los Angeles.
Together, we raised $61,000 (including pledge donations) this weekend! The love and warmth of our community filled every corner of Wolfsglen during the GALA evening. Kaori Suzuki’s photos captured the energy of our evening beautifully. Enjoy!
For those of you who could not join us at the Gala, here’s a great opportunity for you to participate in our campaign this month to give back and uplift more than 3,000 women and children in India.
1. ONLINE AUCTION: Nearly 50 amazing items have been donated this year. Bidding has already begun as this auction runs through November 30th.
2. New Learning Foundation Matching Fundraiser: All donations will be doubled until we reach the fundraising goal of $10,000, which will provide Chromebook notebooks as well as digital skills training and English tutoring for YGB’s Scholarship for Higher Education recipients in West Bengal.
To all the leaders who led an epic series of workshop and retreats during the Gala weekend, we express our deepest gratitude. These special sessions underscored that yoga is not just asana or physical exercises. We aim high to reach to our highest self by learning, practicing and acting upon YOGA. It was truly an inspiring weekend with an incredible community.
