Our Annual Global Gala is like no other, an exciting opportunity for all Yoga Gives Back (YGB) global supporters to come together to give back. This Annual Gala fundraiser is the flagship event of our global campaign #OneMillionYogis engaging yoga communities from around the world. The Gala will be held in Los Angeles on November 10th, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm.

Sponsorships and donations to the Gala empower over 3000 women and children with basic education, scholarships for higher education, micro-loans for businesses, and the opportunity to transform their lives and communities.

- Friday, November 8th, 5-8pm: “A Woman’s Gita” – A live workshop with Nischala Joy Devi and Kamala Rose from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
- Saturday, November 9th, 1-4pm: “Gala Retreat” – Afternoon retreat of asana, chanting, pranayama, meditaion, soundbath and yoga nidra, with Ashley Rideaux, Beate Scholz, Birgitte Kristen, Deepa Chemery, Jeanne Heileman, Jocelyn Solomon, Leah Zaccaria, and Lauren Peterson at shefayoga, Venice.
Last year, we raised over $50,000 through our generous supporters, attendees, sponsors, and volunteers.
2024 YGB Namaste Awarded to Belinda Carlisle
The YGB Namaste Award is a tribute to visionaries who inspire the global yoga community and beyond with their vision. In addition, these individual have committed themselves to humanitarian causes to make this world a better place. We are truly proud to honor Belinda Carlisle as the recipient of the 2024 YGB Namaste Award, for her advocacy for animal welfare and human rights as a co-founder of Animal People Alliance, whose mission is to provide high quality and compassionate care, of the highest standards, to neglected street animals in India and Thailand. They also try and employ vulnerable people from the community, and pay living wages that help them improve their standard of living.
