“I want to support Yoga Gives Back because I truly believe in the transformative power of yoga—not just as a physical practice, but as a tool for emotional regulation and holistic wellbeing. In my work with children who have diverse needs, I’ve seen how yoga helps them maintain an optimal regulated state, fostering calm, focus, and joy.

Deb is honored to volunteer with Yoga without Borders, a global initiative that supports girls at Dau Dayal Girls School in Firozabad, India—an inspiring collaboration among Rainbow Yoga, Yoga Gives Back, and Edu-GIRLS.

In true Aussie spirit, she goes by Deb. She lives in Bathurst, a regional city in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. With over 35 years of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, Deb has dedicated my career to nurturing and supporting young children and their families.

Currently, Deb works as an Early Interventionist, supporting children with diverse needs through inclusive, play-based approaches. She is passionate about integrating movement and mindfulness into early learning, and she has completed the Level 1 Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training. She is currently progressing through Level 2, expanding her skills to create engaging, play-based yoga sessions for children during school holidays.

Outside of work, Deb finds joy in spending time with her family, tending to her garden, playing pickleball, and attending yoga and Pilates classes at her local studio. These activities keep her grounded and energized, both personally and professionally.
