Join Neena for From Joyful movement to stillness – Restorative Yoga Time

June 21st is International Yoga, in honour of this day and Yoga Gives Back I am offering a restorative yoga session.  This session is good for all levels, It’s gentle, and supportive, as it’s a practice of passive healing. This practice of yoga is known for its ability to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. This is the “rest and digest” part of our nervous system that helps keep basic functions in our body working as they should.

We’ll be practicing Pranayama (breathwork), The Viparita Karani pose which is legs up the wall and going beyond Savasana into  Yoga Nidra.
