Every girl deserves the chance to pursue an education. When we support her journey, we don’t just open classroom doors—we help break cycles of poverty, child marriage, and inequality.
This powerful movement to empower underserved girls in India with access to higher education and digital resources was created in 2023 thanks to the passionate leadership of Harmony Slater, YGB Ambassador & Board Member, and the doTERRA Healing Hands Match Fundraiser, this mission continues to grow—doubling the impact of every donation.
Through the doTERRA Healing Hands Match Program, every dollar you donate to Yoga Gives Back is matched up to $10,000, doubling your impact in supporting girls’ education in India. Your contribution directly funds the SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) program, which provides five-year college scholarships to more than 440 students each year in rural West Bengal. These scholarships cover tuition and academic fees—costs that most families simply cannot afford. We have until November 30th to meet our goal.
Beyond financial support, these scholarships offer girls the chance to avoid child marriage, pursue college degrees, and build independent, purpose-driven lives. Many become the first in their families to graduate, paving the way for future generations and driving meaningful change in their communities.

FUEL HER FUTURE: Anushree Engineering Success Against All Odds
Anushree’s family faced severe financial hardship, and higher education felt like an impossible dream. But as a SHE Scholar attending Deenabandhu School, she was given the opportunity to pursue her studies.
After earning her Bachelor of Engineering degree, Anushree now works as an Assistant Engineer at Nirmiti Kendra in Chamarajanagar—a proud achievement made possible by her resilience and the support of Yoga Gives Back.

EMPOWER HER EDUCATION: Nishita Sparking Change Through Digital Literacy
Nishita grew up in a small rural village with a deep passion for computers, but her family’s limited income made computer education impossible. Everything changed when she joined Yoga Gives Back’s SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) program through our partner NISHTHA.
With access to formal digital education, Nishita not only earned her degree but also founded a girls’ digital literacy group in her community, becoming a leader and change-maker. Today, she works as a data entry executive, supports her family financially, and is pursuing her Master’s degree.

TRANSFORM HER WORLD: Nafisha Breaking Free from Tradition, Building a New Path
Born into a conservative Muslim family in Chaknitai, Nafisha watched her older sisters marry young and suffer hardships. Determined to choose a different life, she applied for the SHE Scholarship and was accepted.
Now a nursing student at a prestigious government hospital, Nafisha is preparing for her internship and a promising career with guaranteed employment and salary. Her education empowers her to support her parents and live independently—something her sisters never had the chance to do.
