This workshop is designed to help demystify going up side down, and give students the confidence, tools, and technique to unlock their handstands. We’ll break down the mechanics of handstands, learn practical drills, and work through some of the limiting beliefs that stop us from progressing in our inversion practice.
The workshop will start with a short flow to build body awareness and prepare for handstands, followed by a sequence of targeted drills. Then, time to go up side down! We’ll explore different ways of getting into handstands using partners and the wall. We’ll close with a few restorative poses and a long savasana. This is for you if you want to unlock or improve your handstands. Ideally, you already have headstands in your practice, but this is not required.
