LA Marathon for International Women’s Day in Support of Women & Girls Through YGB

This year, YGB Ambassador Kiyomi Takahashi is running the LA Marathon for International Women’s Day in support of women and girls in need of education, safety, and economic opportunity. The alignment of this iconic race with a global day honoring women makes the effort especially meaningful.

Through this marathon, she is fundraising for Yoga Gives Back (YGB), a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty by investing directly in women and girls in India. Yoga Gives Back supports grassroots programs that provide education for girls, microloans for women, menstrual health access, and safe pathways to independence.

• $50 — 10 women continue the Pad Project (sanitary napkins + income)

• $108 — Elementary education for five children for one year

• $250 — Higher education for a girl for one year
