As a yoga practitioner and teacher for over 20+ years, I am deeply steeped in the philosophy and practice of yoga. With over 1000+ hours of training from yoga institutions like Integral Yoga and Kripalu Yoga, I have spent my life in pursuit of a yogic lifestyle. It is my North Star, my internal support system and my tribe. As with many dedicated yogis, I’ve been called to service. Karma Yoga as a practice has been an integral part of my path. From serving on boards of yoga service organizations like Give Back Yoga to RISE Yoga for Youth, I’ve seen firsthand the powerful impact of yoga on vulnerable populations. To give back to young women in India touches my heart. Yoga has given me my life. To give back to its country of origin is, in my opinon, the essence of Karma Yoga.
