Jaina Mistry Born into a heritage deep in yogic tradition, yoga came naturally to Jaina who
started practising to manage her health in her early teens. Yoga soon became more
than a physical practice when she discovered the power of meditation. With her
developing awareness of the body, mind, heart and soul she trained to become a
yoga teacher in 2010 realising that she wanted to share her love and passion for
yoga with others who can benefit from this age-old tradition.
Through her training Jaina became an advocate for providing safe spaces for
women. She went on to host many women’s retreats allowing women to come
together to tap into and nourish their inner wisdom. Her teachings work
predominantly on the heart space to help others cultivate a deep sense of self-love.
Jaina trained in pregnancy yoga in 2015 and has gone on to teach pregnancy yoga
and become a mother herself. She is a Senior Yoga and Meditation teacher who is a
member of Yoga Alliance Professionals UK. She has taught an array of private
clients, public classes, workshops, retreats and events.
Why support YGB.
Yoga has given Jaina so much and through the practice she wants to give back to
her local community but also to women and children in India.
India has a special place in her heart as it is the home of her ancestral lineage. With
that innate awareness she knows that helping women and children in India also
serves to heal and release generational trauma guided by the timeless, interwoven
wisdom of yoga.
Jaina is grateful to have found a connection with Yoga Gives Back as it is a
wonderful platform with a profound mission that helps her to practice and teach
yoga whilst also serving a cause that is close to her heart. www.yogawithjaina.com
